Overview

Miss Fazila Ishfaq (Environmental Engineer) conducted a tree plantation project in
superior university Gold Campus lahore. The basic purpose of Miss Fazila Ishfaq is t
o make Pakistan Greener and beautiful by engaging different Ngos, Forest Department and
industries.Greenery is a blessing that is essential to the survival of not just the planet’s delicate
ecosystems but also for the living things that live on this planets especially humans.
However humans have played a critical role in the destruction of the green for personal
and usually selfish agendas, making the environment gradually more and more hostile for
all forms of life especially the forms yet to come. Man made structures are also important in
order to provide people with education and livelihoods but such structures are made usually
 by destroying the already lush greenery that once claimed that area to be removed for the same
purpose.

So the only solution is to integrate as much greenery as possible into these structures

wherever there is space that allows such. We here at superior university understand the need

for green and so wish to do our parts in helping make this world green again by providing

area for plantation as well coverage and awareness for the cause. There is plenty of area

and gardening staff available here at superior university as well as teachers,students and

a popular subsidiary of superior group of companies, the news Channel NEO news to help

with this cause. Together with these assets we plan to launch and complete project Emerald

Gold, an go green awareness event that will help both WBM Foundation and superior University

achieve its environmental goals.

Goals

1. Plant a coverage of plants of around 200x20 feet or 500m(2) area making the
   environment greener by using superior university grounds specifically Superior university Gold campus grounds.
2. Organise and enjoy a proper awareness event that can help educate about  and indulge
   people in the importance of and efforts to help make the environment.
3. Provide coverage to both organizations and the positive influences they strive to
   achieve in on state level.
4. Encourage others to take part in the event or in the very least take interest in
   working for environmental causes.

Specifications

We basically will be holding an awareness event where we will require 1-3+ representatives from

WBM foundation for very brief interview and  photographs, 400-500 plants that can be anything

from spider gass or korean grass or species that WBM can provide us with. There will be food and

refreshments for all participants and especially the management of this event and the main staff of

both organizations, some musical arrangement, NEO news reporters covering the event.

The timings will be 10 am- 3pm.

Milestones

1. 
   

   Plant 500 plants.

The type of plants are yet to be decided. And depends on the feasibility of

WBM foundation and the requirements of Gold campus soil.

2. 
   

   Get ample coverage and awareness for the cause.

The main reason for this event is not just to make the world greener but also to ensure

that awareness for the cause and to highlight the work that both organisations do paving

the way for more future events like these.
