GREEN PAKISTAN CLEANLINESS CAMPAIGN

Green Pakistan is working for clean and better environment in Lahore and all over Pakistan and even outside Pakistan since 2011. Leading many plantation drives and anti-garbage awareness walks all over countryside.
Green Pakistan has put best of its efforts to create a good and clean environment. Continuing the same pattern, Green Pakistan has planned another plantation drive for this year 2018.
Green Pakistan has planned the CLEAN AND GREEN UET CAMPAIGN in two phases on 28-02-2018, 01-03-2018 respectively.
Day 1 - Cleanliness Campaign
The purpose of this campaign is to clean UET before any plantation. In this part of the campaign every effort Shall be made to clean UET from garbage and other pollutants by Green Pakistan Team. Cleaning Vehicles governed by Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) experts shall be brought to clean UET. An awareness walk led by Vice Chancellor UET, Lahore Mayor or Minister of Health shall be held. Once cleanliness is assured, Dustbins shall be installed at different places of UET. The breakdown of the campaign on 28-02-2018 is as follows,
1)- Cleaning Vehicles under the supervision of LWMC experts and Green Pakistan
2)- Awareness Walk led by Lahore Mayor or Minister of Health
3)- Installation of Dustbins


Day 2- Green Campaign
In this part of the campaign plants shall be installed at different places in UET. With the minimum number of 500 trees of almost 7ft height, effort shall be made to make UET green. Small plants shall be installed as per requirement. After the plantation, a seminar shall be conducted by Green Pakistan.

1)- Plantation in collaboration with WBM Foundation
2)- Seminar by Green Pakistan
3)- Table Talk in VC’s Office

Clean Pakistan- Plantation Campaign at Lahore Ring Road

Miss Fazila Ishfaq Planted Tree at Lahore Ring Road Eco Goals with the collaboration of WWF Pakistan planted 5000 trees on Lahore Ring Road sponsored by Akhuwat, the world's largest interest-free microfinance program.  Volunteers from Project: Pakistan and Akhuwat’s transgender community took part in the plantation activities. The plantation was facilitated by Lahore Ring Road Authority and PHA, in collaboration with Afforestation Lahore.  Volunteers of Eco Goal This 14 August plant a tree for our future!
