World Forest Day

WBM Foundation with the collaboration of Forest Department arrange a World Forest Day.The day is celebrated in order to appreciate the forests on our lands and give people awreness about forests that how much trees are necessary for our Earth.Miss Fazila Ishfaq(Green officer) WBM  Foundation,Mr. Luqman Ahmad Jajja (Director WBM Foundation) and Secretary Forest Department Mr. Wahid u Din highlight the importance of Forests in our society. 

Students from Samnabad college and many other school perform the skit on save forests.                        
At the end of seminar shields were distributed among students and massive plantation at the jallo botanical garden take place by forest department and WBM Foundation. WBM Foundation appreciates the effort of Punjab Forest Department and Thanks Secretary Forest department for such a massive plantation.

Trees for the Earth will focus on those regions of the world most affected by deforestation. In order to achieve our goal of 7.8 billion trees, we will work with partners from all levels of society, integrate trees into all of our existing campaigns, and create coalitions with national and subnational governments, mayors, faith leaders, businesses, and civil society from all across the globe.
Our goals for planting these trees are as simple as they are important:
·         Fight climate change and pollution

·      Support communities, their local economies, and their way of life;, Protect biodiversity

Clean Pakistan- Plantation Campaign at Lahore Ring Road

Miss Fazila Ishfaq Planted Tree at Lahore Ring Road Eco Goals with the collaboration of WWF Pakistan planted 5000 trees on Lahore Ring Road sponsored by Akhuwat, the world's largest interest-free microfinance program.  Volunteers from Project: Pakistan and Akhuwat’s transgender community took part in the plantation activities. The plantation was facilitated by Lahore Ring Road Authority and PHA, in collaboration with Afforestation Lahore.  Volunteers of Eco Goal This 14 August plant a tree for our future!
