WBM Foundation and environmental engineer Miss fazila Conducted a green and clean pakstan campaign in Govt.Jinnah Islamia college on 20-2-19.WBM Foundation donated 300 free plants to the college.

A Green and clean plantation campaign under Green Pakistan Programme started on Wednesday with college students to plant saplings at Govt.Jinnah Islamia College chuna mandi Lahore.

WBM Foundation has organized this plantation campaign on Wednesday 20 Feb 2019 in collaboration with forest department. Miss fazila Environmental Engineer briefed the teachers as well as students about the importance of trees in environment and said that national tree plantation campaign has been launched following directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The students of colege showed keen interests in planting the saplings. A total of 150 saplings were planted by the students of various classes in this college who also raised various questions about the impacts of trees on environment.

RFO Forest Mr.Toqeer Ajmal also visited the college and mingled with students to tell them about environmental, social and communal benefits of the trees.

He urged the children to plant trees or saplings in their homes and considers them as their asset. He also communicated the children as how trees combat climate change, clean the air, provide oxygen, conserve energy, and cool the streets and city.

Clean Pakistan- Plantation Campaign at Lahore Ring Road

Miss Fazila Ishfaq Planted Tree at Lahore Ring Road Eco Goals with the collaboration of WWF Pakistan planted 5000 trees on Lahore Ring Road sponsored by Akhuwat, the world's largest interest-free microfinance program.  Volunteers from Project: Pakistan and Akhuwat’s transgender community took part in the plantation activities. The plantation was facilitated by Lahore Ring Road Authority and PHA, in collaboration with Afforestation Lahore.  Volunteers of Eco Goal This 14 August plant a tree for our future!
