Tree plantation conducted BY WBM Foundation On ‘ trees on, global warming gone! ‘’with the collaboration of Forest Department AT allama iqbal medical college-university,LAHORE



WBM Foundation conducted a plantation campaign on “Trees on, Global warming gone” with the collaboration of Forest Deprtment Lahore at AIMC on 26th March,2019. Event was aimed to discuss the current environmental issues and their cost-effective solutions by doing plantation.

Speeches:
Welcome speech was delivered by Mr. Tauqeer (Officer of Forest Department). Professors of the college also delivered enthiussiastic speeches on rapid Deforestation and its impact on the world. He briefly talk about rising Environmemtal issues. Prof. umtala zareen also addressed the gathering and advised that we should perform and work individually to bring the healthy change in the environment. At the end of the activity, soviniers and shields were distributed to the students, participants and event organizers.

Plantation:
Following the seminar activity, plantation activity was held in the College permises. Prof. mehmood shoukat sahib and Prof. hamid mehmood along with doctors faculty, planted the seedlings in the college and also initiated the planation activity with the walking campaign.

Conclusion :
Seminar was conducted successfully .The activity proved to be effective  and motivational . All of the participants showed their zeal determination for the cause. Professors presented enthusiastic plantation activity was held in the college ground.

Clean Pakistan- Plantation Campaign at Lahore Ring Road

Miss Fazila Ishfaq Planted Tree at Lahore Ring Road Eco Goals with the collaboration of WWF Pakistan planted 5000 trees on Lahore Ring Road sponsored by Akhuwat, the world's largest interest-free microfinance program.  Volunteers from Project: Pakistan and Akhuwat’s transgender community took part in the plantation activities. The plantation was facilitated by Lahore Ring Road Authority and PHA, in collaboration with Afforestation Lahore.  Volunteers of Eco Goal This 14 August plant a tree for our future!
