Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women around the world. Unfortunately, Pakistan has the highest incidence of breast cancer in Asia. Miss Fazila Ishfaq along with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) conducted an awareness campaign on breast cancer. Breast continues to be the highest malignancy reported and currently being treated over the years. The causes of breast cancer are not yet know with certainty and research into this continues. Nevertheless, studies have shown that early detection of breast cancer can result in a survival rate of over 90%.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, worldwide. Pakistan has one of the highest incidences of breast cancer in Asia. You can detect breast cancer in time and start appropriate treatment.
  • Women under the age of 40 should carry out monthly self-examination.
  • Women over the age of 40 should get yearly mammography screening.
Prevention may not be in your hands, early detection is.

Clean Pakistan- Plantation Campaign at Lahore Ring Road

Miss Fazila Ishfaq Planted Tree at Lahore Ring Road Eco Goals with the collaboration of WWF Pakistan planted 5000 trees on Lahore Ring Road sponsored by Akhuwat, the world's largest interest-free microfinance program.  Volunteers from Project: Pakistan and Akhuwat’s transgender community took part in the plantation activities. The plantation was facilitated by Lahore Ring Road Authority and PHA, in collaboration with Afforestation Lahore.  Volunteers of Eco Goal This 14 August plant a tree for our future!
