Miss Fazila Ishfaq conducted a Smog awareness seminar at Fatima Jinnah College for Women Chuna Mandi Lahore.  Around 250 plants including, neem, kikar, and rose were distributed among the students of the college. Miss Fazila Ishfaq give motivational speech on Smog and how to mitigate it.Principal of college Dr.Samina also motivated students about the environment and highlight the importance of the environment. Plastic bags seem to be one of the most hated things on the planet. But you know when it comes to things like climate change. Paper and cotton bags are actually much worse for the planet than plastic. When people look at environmental impacts, they tend to focus right at the end of the life cycle analysis. They see the plastic pollution that’s a massive problem but what far fewer people see is right at the beginning of the production side. In fact, the plastic bag was originally invented to help save the planet. Eco goals Concerns about Amazon Forests The news sparkling around is Amazon forest is burning up at an alarming rate. The Satellite images published by NASA is showing the devastating fires in the Amazon between the borders of Paraguay and Brazil and is totally destroying it.  These images just found out after a week when the director of Brazil’s National Space Research Institute (INPE) dismissed order released by Jair government in the midst of a controversy over its satellite data. The images showed a devastating rise in Amazon deforestation, which the far-right government vehemently denied and dismissed as “lies” and didn’t listen to it. It is yet unclear whether the current fires were set intentionally by human activity or whether they are a consequence of rising temperatures by global warming and humidity.
